Z is for Zaklina Vracar.
Born in Southeastern Europe, Zaklina attributes much of her dynamic personality and work ethic to the vibrant culture she was raised in. Independent and focused since childhood, Zaklina got her first job as a secretary at age 17. Within two short years, she was in charge of Beomedicina company products, import and export deals, and all communications with international customers.
Always searching for new experiences and challenges, Zaklina immigrated to Canada in 1997. With her strength of character, hard work, and intelligence, within a few years of landing in Vancouver, her list of accomplishments was impressive. She’d mastered English, had a full-time job in sales, a lovely home, a beautiful baby girl, and many close friends.
Looking for new career prospects, Zaklina got involved in Property Management in 1999, starting as the Building Manager of a rental building in the Mount Pleasant area of East Vancouver. Proving herself as a capable, quick study, after only two years, Zaklina was responsible for the complete management of 169 rental suites in five buildings in Vancouver. This success led her to the position of Marketing and Property Manager within the offices of Nacel Properties Ltd. Nacel tasked Zaklina with managing and improving the most challenging portion of its company portfolio, consisting of 956 rental suites within nine complexes in Burnaby, Surrey, and at UBC. In six months, Zaklina and her team of nine building managers increased the rental portfolio total net revenue by 10% and rent revenue by 15%. Among her many accomplishments at Nacel, Zaklina was solely responsible for setting up the management for a new rental complex in Fort McMurray, Alberta. She deftly hired and trained building managers and maintenance staff and set the budget and leasing structures. Every project Zaklina was involved with was a success, and she left Nacel Properties with a list of exceptional results, and the respect and friendship of colleagues.
In May 2002, Zaklina launched her own rental property management company, Z Agency, beginning with the management and maintenance of five rental buildings on Vancouver’s West Side.

Much of Zaklina’s success can be attributed to her enthusiastic personality. She is honest, efficient, and straightforward, loves her job, and derives great personal satisfaction from helping people. Whatever the situation, she tackles it with grace and boundless energy. She keenly understands that often her work directly relates to and influences the quality of her clients’ personal lives, which motivates her to act and problem solve quickly and professionally. This attitude has resulted in an extensive list of happy and satisfied tenants, clients, property owners, and contractors over many years.
This is why, after many overdue years, Zaklina @ Z Agency is launching its website, branching out with new services such as company advertising allowing Z Agency to reach more tenants, clients, and homeowners.
